Paym allows you to send money instantly to friends and family using just their mobile number – no bank details needed.
All you need to do is select one of your contacts, or enter the payee’s mobile number, choose the amount and hit send! You can send up to £250 daily through the service.
Registration is simple too and you can do it through eBanking or the Danske Mobile Bank App. Just select your account, register your phone number and you’re good to go!
To use Paym, you need to have downloaded the Danske Mobile Bank App for iOS and Android smartphones only (if you haven't already done so).You can do this by clicking on the icon below relevant to your device.

Our app is available to eBanking customers on iOS and Android devices. You must be registered for and have logged on to eBanking using your electronic signature to use Danske Mobile Bank. This service may be temporarily unavailable when we are carrying out routine maintenance. To use Paym you need to register your mobile phone. We have taken some of your frequently asked questions and answered them below.
The minimum daily amount is £1 and the maximum daily amount is £250.
Please check you’ve entered your mobile number correctly. If the number is correct then you may have opted out to receive certain text messages from the Bank.
To opt in again, text OPT IN to 60999 (standard rate text for your network provider applies).
Try to register again for Paym. Once you receive the message with the Paym activation code, you can text STOP to 60999 if you wish to stop receiving further marketing messages.
No, any valid mobile number can be registered as long as it is linked to an UK sort code and account number.
You can do this on the App or eBanking.
App: Within the Paym section, go to settings, tap edit and then deactivate.
eBanking: Click on ‘Mobile Services’ and then ‘Deactivate’.
You won’t be able to send or receive payments through Paym once you have deactivated the service. If you wish to use Paym in the future you’ll need to register again.
Before you send a payment, Paym will confirm the name of the payee so please check this carefully before proceeding.
However, if you make a mistake and send a payment to the wrong payee you must contact us immediately and we will make reasonable efforts to try to get the payment returned.
